De acordo com uma recente pesquisa da empresa de consultoria Zenith Media, em 2019, a média de tempo que as pessoas do mundo inteiro ficarão online será superior ao intervalo gasto em frente à televisão.
As estimativas são de que as pessoas fiquem 170,6 minutos acessando sites e conteúdos online, enquanto o tempo em frente à TV passará a ser de 170,3 minutos.
Apesar de a diferença de tempo ser muito pequena entre ambos os comportamentos, a Zenith alega que as perspectivas são de que essa distância aumente ainda mais em 2020, prevendo que o tempo médio de pessoas online passe para 180 minutos diários, ante aos 168 minutos de utilização de televisores.
